The Galápagos | an introduction to diving

spotted eagle ray The isolated islands of the Galápagos were Charles Darwin's greatest inspiration, giving birth to his famous theory on evolution. Sitting right on the Equator, these islands are home to an unparalleled number of indigenous species.

They are also included on nearly every divers 'most-wanted' list due to the reputation for masses of large pelagic species like sharks, whales and rays. Although, this is not easy diving, it is exhilarating and extremely challenging.
