Baa Atoll, The Maldives – 2025
After a diving hiatus in 2024, this year we returned to the beautiful Maldives,
staying at the glorious Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu resort.
Our very first diving exploration of the Maldives was when there were only
3 or 4 resorts. Now, there are very many to choose from.
Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, at the bottom of the Baa Atoll, was recommended by a friend – a great tip as it’s smaller than most and very
eco-friendly. There’s even a small turtle rescue centre.
Diving was a little restricted by weather, but let’s face it, it’s no longer possible to predict weather patterns. Regardless, we had some excellent dives, with masses of fish, colourful corals and a good range of all the animals you would expect to see.
