Shaun and Beth Tierney started diving not long after a round-the-world trek when they spent long spells in the tropics, floating over vivid coral reefs but wishing they were down below with the divers.
Shaun's first career was as a studio photographer but his first love is now shooting underwater. Beth worked in advertising and marketing, most recently as a consultant on the dive industry.
For the past 10 years they have been increasingly involved in diving and as a photo-journalist team, their editorial work covers both land and dive travel, marine biology and conservation. They have been published in many dive magazines worldwide as well as newspapers, books, travel guides and on the Internet.
Their latest projects include the Essential Christmas Island Travel Guide for Christmas Island Tourism and Diving the World for Footprint Guides.
