Diving in Puerto Galera | The Philippines
DIVE LOG:
LOCATION:
Puerto Galera, Mindoro Island
DIVE SITE:
Sinandigan Wall, aka, Nudi Wall
DEPTH:
28 metres
SPECIES:
Nembrotha milleri

This dive site is referred to and named as a wall, but the entire focus of the dive is on a gently sloping area smothered in nudibranchs. And not just a few or even a few species, there is an incredible number and variety of these tiny creatures crawling about.

As you move along, you can hardly fin a metre before spotting one nudi then another and then another. There were masses of chromodoris species and almost as many nembrothas.

We were very amused when after photographing this nembrotha as he was grazing along the surface, he raised his head and looked at us as if to say "can't you see I'm busy?"

Subclass Opisthobranchia
