| Diving in Bali... Recently we had a few days stopover in Bali. We dived with AquaMarine Diving - Bali, tested a camera for FujiFilm UK and revisted some of our favourite dive sites. Fishy photos... and fishy tales Last year, Japanese diver, Naoko Funakoshi, created a fish ID book – one that would be donated to children in developing countries. Lots of photographers donated images, Shaun included, and Wonderful Water Planet is now being distributed by various children's charities but you can buy a copy. All profits made will be used to print more copies for the kids. A far more complex project for us was to try and create a shrimp page for our marine species galleries. There are over 30,000 crustaceans in the ocean and we feel like we have almost that many photos! We've made a start in creating the shrimp gallery but it's by no means finished. |

STOP PRESS! Recently some of the UK's top chefs launched Fish Fight, a campaign to stop the appalling fishing practice known as 'discard'. This refers to the huge amounts of fish that are caught by trawling then thrown back into the sea – dead – as they don't comply with quotas. The campaign is making waves across Europe. However, this hideous insult to our oceans is a worldwide problem, so please read up and sign the petition.
