UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY | Dragon moray eel

Diving the Bunaken Marine Park, Indonesia
Dive Log
LOCATION:
Manado, Sulawesi
DIVE SITE:
Lekuan III
DEPTH:
25 metres
SPECIES:
Periclemines kororensis

Typical of the dives around Bunaken Island, Lekuan can be great for big stuff as well as the very small. The word Lekuan means curves, which reflects the winding nature of this wall dive.

At the base of the wall, there are a lot of mushroom corals strewn across the sandy bottom. Look carefully as most will have a resident mushroom coral shrimp hiding in the tentacles and waving his extremely long, transparent legs in the current.
