UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY | The wreck of the Alma Jane

Diving Puerto Galera, The Philippines
Dive Log
Puerto Galera, The Philippines
Alma Jane wreck, Sabang Bay
26 metres

Sabang Bay is one of the busiest locations in Puerto Galera, partly because much of the diving inside it is protected and easy.

This old cargo boat was sunk on the outer edge of the bay to make an artificial reef. She isn’t very big about 5 metres wide by 25 long and sits on the sand at 30m. Although the boat itself isn’t all that special she has attracted a huge number of fish including this very curious and friendly school of batfish that followed us around rather like curious puppies.
