This site at the eastern end of Puerto Galera reflects the landside terrain. A series of large boulders appear to have tumbled down from the steep cliff looming above forming caverns, swim-throughs and tunnels.
Exploring in and around these revealed plenty of critters and fish but our divemaster was particularly surprised on the day we were dived this site. We knew he had found something special as he was performing an underwater victory dance. We had to wait patiently for him to calm down then show this stunning – and rather unimpressed – blue-ringed octopus.
